Julie works with partners who have experienced the devastating blow of betrayal or sexual addiction of their spouse. She utilizes a multidimensional trauma perspective and aims to provide hope and healing from this life shattering event. Julie is part of a team of counselors, male and female, who work together to aid healing and change for each partner and for the couple's relationship, if appropriate. While many clinicians work in this area of practice, we have formal training in navigating the complex issues related to betrayal.
Julie received her Bachelors Degree in Psychology from Oral Roberts University and her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Oklahoma. She has worked in both counseling and hospital settings, with experience in individual, group, and family therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.
Julie is passionate about helping individuals cope with the devastation of their spouses sexual addiction. Many clients come in saying, "I feel crazy" or "My emotions are just all over the place." When facing the heartbreak of sexual addiction, these are normal feelings and can often be helped through counseling. Julie would love the opportunity to work with you to help you navigate this difficult journey.
